Peter Owunna has over 16years experience in financial services, performing strategic consulting in the areas of new business and product development, process improvement and organizational transformation, acquisition and market strategy, technology strategy and implementation, as well as project management.
He holds an MSC in Management and Information Systems Strategy from the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE), a member of the British Information Systems Society and a graduate of Banking and Finance from Abia State University, Nigeria.
His professional engagement encompasses great expertise in investment banking, business incubation, business and financial advisory, corporate finance, organizational leadership, business analysis etc., Peter’s career has seen him through Diamond Bank Plc. as Operations officer where he rose to become Business Development Officer. He was settlement Officer at Credit Suisse First Boston London from where he left to join Temenos UK Limited as Senior Strategic Consultant. He was also the Head, Conglomerates and Services of Broad Bank Ltd (now Union Bank Plc.). He was with FutureView Financial Services Limited, as Group Head, Business Advisory, Strategy & Business Development, and for the past five years, Managing Director at Bluebird Capital Limited.
He is distinguished for his critical aptness for proffering value adding and tailored solutions through his independent and un-conflicted advisory prowess in project development and market diagnosis. Peter continuously develops creative approaches to solving complex and sensitive problems, while possessing ability for tactically recognizing developing opportunities based on timely insight into global market dynamics.
